Next in Loungefly's beautifully designed Castle series is Mulan-the story of a strong-willed daughter who disguises herself as a man to protect her elderly father from enlisting in the army to defend their country from invaders.

In the film, Mulan passes for a man named Ping and having learned of her departure, her grandmother prays to the family ancestors for her safety. Mushu, a disgraced former guardian, accidentally destroys the statue chosen to guide Mulan and, desiring to redeem himself, travels to her aid. Mulan goes on to become a great war hero, defeating the evil Shan Yu in a grand fireworks explosion despite her expulsion from the army when her deception is revealed.
